DNALC NYC is pleased to welcome campers to our newest location! The new lab, a collaboration with the City University of New York (CUNY), is located at New York City College of Technology (City Tech) in Brooklyn and includes six teaching labs with state-of-the-art equipment and two bioinformatics labs.

DNALC COVID-19 Saftety Net: Staff and students at In-Person camps must comply to Safety Net guidelines in place at the time of the camp. For In-Person camps:

  • View the current DNALC COVID-19 Safety Net procedures.
  • Current procedures are subject to change, as per the presiding CDC and New York State Health Department guidelines. Updates will be incorporated as summer approaches.
  • Families will be  provided revised DNALC COVID-19 Safety Net  procedures and student drop off/pick up instructions after registration.

2, 3, 4, 5: Get off at the Borough Hall station and walk towards Borough Hall to 259 Adams Street.

Driving Directions:

Manhattan/Bronx: FDR Drive to the Brooklyn Bridge. When you exit the bridge the DNALC @ City Tech is just past Tillary Street on the left - drop off is 259 Adams Street entrance.

Queens: Long Island Expressway west to the BQE. Follow the sign to downtown Brooklyn. Exit at Tillary and stay in the center lane past the Flatbush Avenue Extensions; 3 more blocks and turn left on Tillary. DNALC at City Tech will be on the left - drop off is 259 Adams Street entrance.

Brooklyn: Belt Parkway to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and get off at the Atlantic Avenue exit. Turn right on Atlantic; continue for five blocks to Smith Street. Make a left onto Smith; continue across Fulton where Smith becomes Jay. Make left on Johnson Street, and a right onto Adams St/Brooklyn Bridge Blvd. DNALC at City Tech will be on the right - drop off is 259 Adams Street entrance.

Staten Island: Cross the Verrazano Bridge to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Take the Belt Parkway to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and get off at the Atlantic Avenue exit. Turn right on Atlantic; continue for five blocks to Smith Street. Make a left onto Smith; continue across Fulton where Smith becomes Jay. Make left on Johnson Street, and a right onto Adams St/Brooklyn Bridge Blvd. DNALC at City Tech will be on the right - drop off is 259 Adams Street entrance.
