Discount Opportunities

We’re excited to offer special discounts to make it easier for families to join the fun! Whether you have multiple children or are enrolling in more than one of our camps, we’ve got you covered. You can also refer a friend and you will both save!

Earlybird Discount

Signup in February to take advantage! The earlybird tuition discount applies to all paid camp applications received through February 28, 2025. The 2025 tuition prices (increases range from $20 to $30 higher) apply to applications received beginning March 1, 2025.

Enroll More and Save

Sibling Discount

We love to see siblings sharing the camp experience! Enroll more than one child from your family, and each additional child will receive $25 off their camp tuition. Once the first child is enrolled and tuition is paid, subsequent enrollments will include a $25 discounted tuition.

Multi-Camp Discount

Planning to enroll your child for more than one of our exciting camps this summer? Once the camper is enrolled and tuition is paid for one camp, subsequent camp enrollments that same year will include a $25 tuition discount.

Refer a Friend

When you refer a friend to an In-Person DNALC summer camp, you’ll both save. Earn a $25 credit for you and $25 for your friend.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Log in to your DNALC summer camp account, or create an account if you do not have one.
  2. Get your personal referral code:
    1. If you have already enrolled and paid for a camp this year, find your referral code on the My Account page.
    2. If you are booking for the first time this year, a code will be generated with your first paid application; find your code on the My Account page.
  3. Share your referral code with someone:
    1. Send the 6–8-character referral code for your friend to enter on the "Application: Tuition Payment" page.
    2. Friends who enter your referral code will get a $25 discount per paid in-person camp (up to $100 maximum discount per parent account) on this year's enrollments.
    3. You will get a $25 credit at the end of the summer for each use of your code (up to $100 maximum discount). Terms and conditions below will apply.

Terms and conditions

  1. Maximum credit/discount issued is $100.
  2. Codes must be applied at time of reservation; codes will not apply retroactively.
  3. Referral program only applies to In-Person camps.
  4. Credit for the referrer will be in the form of a refund to the credit card used or by check mailed to the account holder in September. A credit will only be issued for a code that was used for a paid, In-Person camp. Discounts for the referee will be immediately applied at checkout.
  5. Credits and discounts cannot be combined with any other discount, including scholarships or employee discounts for CSHL, City Tech, Passaic County Biotechnology Innovation Center, or Regeneron employees.
  6. The DNALC reserves the right to interpret the terms and conditions of this referral program and to cancel any discount or credit in case of abuse.

 

Scholarships

Scholarships are available upon request for those with a financial need. A strong recommendation from a teacher, administrator, or guidance counselor from your child's school is also required.

Only one scholarship per student will be granted, if the needs-based and recommendation criteria are met. After completing one week of camp, a determination will be made if the student may request 1 additional camp scholarship in the same summer.

To apply for a scholarship:

  1. Complete a camp application and on the Tuition Payment page, open the "Request Scholarship" drop-down at the bottom to access the request form.
  2. Complete requested information on the form for financial need. As proof of financial need, we require documentation from your child’s school stating that your child has qualified for the School Lunch Program for the academic year 2024-2025.
  3. If you choose, you may enter the email of a teacher, administrator, or guidance counselor from your child's school to automatically receive an email request for a recommendation. You can also enter a personalized note to that school representative.
    Alternatively, when you click "Submit Request", a link to a recommendation form unique to your child will be generated. You will receive the link by email to share with the school representative you wish to complete the recommendation form.
  4. When the recommendation form is submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to the parent as well as the recommending educator.
  5. The camp application will show "pending scholarship" in your camp account. Note: Enrollment is not secured until scholarship requests are approved, and in the case of partial scholarships, the remaining balance must be paid online.
